Asian Games 2026

The Asian Games is a continental multi-sport event, organized by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). It is a truly global platform where athletes compete among themselves and demonstrate their talents, while also celebrating Asia’s rich culture and diverse heritage. The Games have been held since 1951, shortly after World War II ended, with the goal of reestablishing connections between nations through sports and contributing to regional peace.

The next Asian Games will be held in 2026, with all 45 member National Olympic Committees who are members of the OCA expected to send delegations. The Games will feature 32 sports from the 2024 Summer Olympics, plus 11 additional events and disciplines.
