The Masters Leaderboard

The 89th Masters is moving into the weekend and the chase for a green jacket gets serious. Leader Justin Rose enters the final two days of play atop the tournament, with Bryson DeChambeau and Rory McIlroy just a few strokes back. The top 10 players begin their rounds at 2 p.m. on Friday, and the field is crowded with the best players in golf. Follow along on USA TODAY’s leaderboard as the action at Augusta National continues.

Rory McIlroy

The Northern Irishman rebounded from his first-round meltdown with a strong second round. He had birdies at Nos. 10, 11, and 13 and a highlight was a 4-iron from the pine straw on No. 15 that didn’t look like it would make the green, but it did and led to a birdie.

Bryson DeChambeau

The American, who won last year’s Masters, is just a few shots back of the lead at 6-under after two rounds. He produced one of the Masters’ most impressive rounds in his first two days, and he has a chance to win a third straight green jacket.

Scottie Scheffler

The defending champion is just one shot behind after a solid first round. He started the day at 3-under and birdied his final hole for a four-under 66. Corey Conners and Ludvig Aberg are also at four-under, and they’re just off the lead.
