It’s high drama in the final round at The Masters. Rory McIlroy clinches the green jacket, becoming only the sixth player to complete a career grand slam. Find out all the latest from Augusta and follow along with our live leaderboard.
McIlroy has the lead after a thrilling start to the final round. He hits a superb approach to 8ft at the 1st, then sank the putt to move two clear of U.S Open champion Bryson DeChambeau.
Rose then birdied the 16th and followed that up with a bogey at 18 to drop back but he’s still in the mix for the top spot. He hooks a 7-iron around the trees at the 15th to eight feet for an easy par putt and then makes another birdie at the 17th.
Bryson DeChambeau continues his steady progress at the Masters, improving on his first-round 69 with a second-round 68. The US Open champion has yet to win at Augusta but tied for sixth a year ago and also won the 2024 U.S Open in a dramatic finish at Pinehurst.
Justin Rose’s bid for a first Masters title since 2013 suffered a blow in Round 2. The world No 1 shot three-over 75 and falls down to joint fifth with McIlroy and Corey Conners.
