US Open Schedule

The US Open schedule begins with the first round of men’s and women’s singles matches on Sunday, August 24. The tournament then runs through Labor Day weekend, with the women’s final held on Saturday, September 6, and the men’s final one day later.

The 2025 tournament is expected to feature a strong field, with many top players including recent Grand Slam champions and rising stars. Defending champion Aryna Sabalenka is a clear favourite for the women’s title, but she has yet to win a Grand Slam this season and will be looking to finish the year on a high note. Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz are also strong contenders in the men’s division, while Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, and other home favourites will look to add a major to their résumés.

In addition to the US Open main draw, the tournament includes mixed doubles and wheelchair competitions, giving fans plenty of options for catching all the action at Flushing Meadows. The full US Open tennis calendar can be found on the official website.

How to get to the US Open
